Vinova Lab is not a software house. It is not a consulting firm. It is not a research lab in the traditional sense.
Vinova Lab is a company that builds practical AI products — software platforms that automate complex work, augment human capabilities, and return time to people and organisations.
The company will generate consulting revenue during its initial phase to finance product development. But products are the destination.
What we are building
Vinova Lab is building an intelligent document-processing engine capable of connecting to documents wherever they are stored, on-premises or off-premises, and reading, interpreting, and indexing them — not only their text, but also their visual structure and graphical content. The engine detects duplicates and newer versions, identifies relationships between documents, and turns fragmented files into connected, usable knowledge. It also provides natural-language retrieval, allowing applications to answer questions from document content and return the original file when needed.
The engine is not intended to be used as a standalone product. It is a shared technological foundation whose document connectivity, processing, indexing, correlation, and retrieval capabilities are inherited by every application built on it. These applications turn the engine into practical solutions aligned with Vinova Lab's mission: software platforms that automate complex work, augment human capabilities, and return time to people and organisations.
The first solution built on this foundation is rAInty, designed for consumers and small businesses.
Its horizontal application, file, gives users a general-purpose interface to the document intelligence provided by the engine. It allows them to work with their connected and indexed documents, explore the relationships between them, ask questions in natural language, and retrieve the original file when needed — without first having to find and open it themselves.
file may be offered as a free product with usage limits, creating an accessible entry point to the rAInty platform.
Vertical applications can then be built on top of the same documents and knowledge already indexed by file. The first is rent, a web and mobile application for managing rental properties. Property management is therefore one vertical within rAInty, not the entirety of the product.
Over time, Vinova Lab intends to apply the same document intelligence foundation to additional products and workflows where AI can meaningfully reduce operational complexity.
